Over the last 10 years, I have not only trained my own dogs for ranch work and competitive trials but I have had the opportunity to train and compete in trials with other breeds. Working other breeds has helped me gain more knowledge and skills as a trainer.

I continue to work with a variety of different trainers and handlers to further develop my own skills with training, trialing, and breeding dogs. My membership in USBCHA, WCDA and ASCA organizations and spending time with their members has helped increase my knowledge and understanding of not only what makes the perfect stock dog but how they work and train towards becoming the perfect stock dog.

You can expect that I will work with you and your dog to reach your goals -- whether it is a working ranch or a solid trial dog. Puppy training packages are available with the purchase of one of our puppies. I am also available to evaluate your young dogs potential for you.

We have only a limited number of training slots available. Please contact me so we can discuss what you and your dog need and I can try to give you an idea of what training is necessary to reach your goals.

All of these dogs have great talent and have not finished what their owners have set out to do with them. Thanks everyone for the nice mention in the “Aussie Times” and “The Herding News” for the cover picture and acknowledgment in their July-September 2008 issue; and more recently, the article in the April 2010 issue of “Pet Friendly Magazine”.

Thank you Carolyn Tompkins for the opportunity to train and trial Hunter (Cardigan) and more recently Skid. Hunter finished his ASCA STDs, OTDs and ATDs as well as AKC HSAs titles. In four months Skid has finished her AKC HSAs, ASCA STDs and one leg of her OTDs title. Skid started 2009 with a strong showing at the Cardigan Nationals winning Reserve High in Trial and two first place finishes in the Intermediate sheep class. In May, she finished her ASCA OTDs title with a score of 112 and earned her first qualifying leg toward her Advanced Trial Dog title. Skid finished out the year by completing her AKC intermediate sheep title in September with a third place. Skid started 2010 by earning her first AKC Advanced sheep leg in July with a third place. She will continue to compete in both AKC and ASCA trials in 2010.
